Black Panther got a nerf in Marvel Rivals that makes him a bit easier to take down. The health he gains after refreshing Vibranium Marks has been reduced. Here’s a quick rundown of their changes after the Season 1 patch in January 2025.

What Changed?

  1. The health Black Panther gets after refreshing Vibranium Marks is now 30, down from 40.

  2. The maximum health he can gain from this ability was also lowered from 120 to 75.

Impact of the Nerf

  1. Less Healing
Black Panther now gets less health back when he refreshes his marks, which means he can’t stay in fights as long as he used to.

  2. Harder to Survive Long Fights
Since the upper limit for health gain is lower, Black Panther players will need to play more carefully, especially in long battles. He won’t be able to heal as much over time.

  3. Weaker Sustain
This change makes Black Panther less durable. He’s still a strong damage dealer, but staying alive will now be more difficult, especially against high-damage opponents.

Our Thoughts

This nerf lowers Black Panther’s ability to survive long fights by reducing his healing. Players will need to be smarter about when to engage and avoid taking too much damage. Black Panther is still powerful, but he now requires better timing and positioning to shine.
