Yes, Split Fiction can be played offline, but only in local co-op.

If you have two controllers (or one controller and a keyboard/mouse on PC), you and a friend can play the entire game offline on the same screen — no internet connection or EA account required.

Offline Play – What You Need to Know:

  • Local couch co-op is fully supported.

  • No EA account or online login needed.

  • Available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

  • Just start the game, plug in your controllers, and play.

Online Play Requires Internet

If you want to play with a friend online, you need:

  • An internet connection
