In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, The Thieves’ Code quest presents you with a decision: should you give the stolen thieves' symbols to Chenyek or Knuckles? This choice affects your rewards and future quest opportunities, so it’s important to know what each option leads to before deciding. Here’s some information to help you decide.

How to Make the Choice

  • Option 1: Give the symbols to Chenyek

    • Reward: 100 Groschen

    • Outcome: Unlocks more quests in the Feast for the Poor questline and strengthens your ties to Kuttenberg’s criminal network.

    • Best for: Players who want long-term quest content and access to future tasks.

  • Option 2: Give the symbols to Knuckles

    • Reward: 150 Groschen

    • Outcome: Ends the questline with no additional tasks. You get more money immediately, but no future benefits.

    • Best for: Players who only want fast Groschen and don’t care about future quests.

  • Option 3: Let both copy the symbols (only available if you spoke to Knuckles earlier)

    • Reward: No extra Groschen beyond the first choice.

    • Outcome: Avoids favoring one side but doesn’t unlock additional quests.

    • Best for: Players who want to stay neutral, though it has no gameplay advantages.

Best Choice for Your Playthrough

  • If you want more side quests and story content, choose Chenyek. His route leads to more work and deeper involvement with Kuttenberg’s underground.

  • If you just want quick cash, choose Knuckles. His offer is better in the short term, but it closes off future tasks.

  • If you prefer to play it safe, letting both copy the symbols won’t change much, but it avoids upsetting either contact.

For players interested in expanding their role in the criminal world, Chenyek is the smarter option. If you’re just looking to make a quick profit and move on, Knuckles is the better choice.
