Doom Dark Ages is bringing the biggest, most brutal arsenal the series has ever had. From shotguns to rocket launchers to powerful new melee weapons, here’s a full Doom Dark Ages weapons list (so far that we know of) and what each weapon does.
Doom Dark Ages Weapons List
Doom Dark Ages new weapons and returning favorites include:
Combat Shotgun
Fast, reliable, and deadly at close range.
Super Shotgun
Classic double-barrel for massive damage up close.
Plasma Rifles (Accelerator and Twin Barrel)
Accelerator: Focused shots for precision damage.
Twin Barrel: Faster fire for groups of enemies.
Rail Spike
Two modes:
Impeller (slow, heavy damage).
Shredder (fast fire rate).
Skull Crusher
Starts with Pulverizer mode.
Can be upgraded to a spread choke variant.
Rocket Launcher (Two Versions)
One version can be upgraded for close-range use.
Parries let you fire without taking self-damage.
Reaver Chainshot
Charged shots that hit hard.
Can auto-charge after a perfect parry with the Eldritch Blessing upgrade.
Doom Dark Ages Melee Weapons
Doom Dark Ages melee weapons are all-new and powerful. You can’t swap them in combat but can upgrade them between missions:
Gauntlet
Delivers powerful punches.
Flail
Wide swings to hit multiple enemies.
Mace
Slow but crushes enemies with huge damage.
New Utility Weapon — Shield Saw
The Shield Saw is a unique weapon in Doom Dark Ages:
Blocks red fireballs.
Parries green attacks.
Interacts with purple projectiles.
Holding the shield throw triggers slow motion for precision strikes.
Doom Dark Ages New Weapons — Super Weapon
The new BFG will return, but it’s not handed out early. Players will need to explore and earn it deep into the campaign.
Weapon Skins
Weapon skins return for all Slayer weapons, plus the mech and dragon. The Void Slayer and Divinity Pack skins are available as preorder and premium bonuses.
