Note: You can increase all XP gained by 50% using Henry’s Fox Potion.

We’ll get right to the point! To level up your Thievery skill quickly in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 you can follow these steps…

1. Pick Locks and Open Chests

  • Where to Do It:

    • Trosky Castle is a great location to level up Thievery. There are plenty of locked chests and doors in a small area, making it easy to practice.

  • How It Works:

    • Start with easier locks and move on to harder ones as your skill improves.

    • As you unlock more difficult locks, you'll gain more XP. Keep practicing for hours to master it.

  • Bonus Tip:

    • Doing this at night gives you a stealth boost, which is also great for leveling up your Stealth skill at the same time.

2. Pickpocketing

  • How to Do It:

    • Find sleeping NPCs (preferably at night). Sneak up on them and pickpocket them without stealing anything.

    • Every successful pickpocket will earn you 5 XP in Thievery and Agility.

  • Why It’s Good:

    • This is a super fast way to farm Thievery and Agility. If done right, you can earn 260 XP per minute just by pickpocketing sleeping NPCs.

  • Bonus Tip:

    • You can pickpocket people repeatedly for hours without much risk if you’re careful.

3. Stealth and Lockpicking Combo

  • Maximize XP Gains:

    • By practicing Stealth and Lockpicking at the same time, you get the most XP in the shortest time.

    • Try sneaking around at night while picking locks or pickpocketing, and your Stealth will level up as well.

4. Dark Arts Perk (Optional)

  • Why Its Good:

    • If you have the Dark Arts Apprentice perk, crafting potions (like Henry’s Fox Potion) between midnight and 4:30 AM allows for more leeway with mistakes when crafting, helping you improve your Alchemy and XP farming as a whole.

Final Tip:

To level Thievery quickly, focus on lockpicking and pickpocketing NPCs, especially while sneaking around at night. By doing this consistently, you'll gain tons of Thievery XP and improve your Stealth skill at the same time!
