Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection is bringing back 14 classic games from the Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance era. Some of these were never released outside Japan, making this a big deal for longtime fans. The collection is launching on February 27, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and PC.

Here’s everything included in the collection:

Game Boy & Game Boy Color Titles

  1. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters (1998) – The first Yu-Gi-Oh! video game ever.

  2. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters II: Dark Duel Stories (1999) – Expanded on the original with new cards and mechanics.

  3. Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule (2000) – A strategy game using monster capsules instead of cards.

  4. Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories (2000 Japan, 2002 U.S., 2003 Europe) – The first Yu-Gi-Oh! game officially released in the West.

  5. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelist (2000) – Released in three versions (Yugi, Kaiba, Jonouchi Decks). Now has online battle support.

Game Boy Advance Titles

  1. Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon Dice Monsters (2001 Japan, 2003 U.S./Europe) – A unique dice-based strategy game.

  2. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul (2001 Japan, 2002 U.S., 2003 Europe) – One of the best classic Yu-Gi-Oh! games.

  3. Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 (2001) – Another Japan-exclusive, focusing on advanced duel mechanics.

  4. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards (2002 Japan, 2003 U.S., 2004 Europe) – A mix of RPG and card dueling.

  5. Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction (2003 Japan, 2004 U.S./Europe) – Sequel to The Sacred Cards but much harder.

  6. Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Stairway to the Destined Duel (2003) – Follows the Battle City arc.

  8. Yu-Gi-Oh! Destiny Board Traveler (2004 Japan/U.S., 2005 Europe) – A mix of board game mechanics and dueling.

  9. Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005 (2004 Japan, 2005 U.S./Europe) – Another tournament-focused title with a massive card pool.
