How to Complete the Countercult Challenge in Doom: The Dark Ages

The Countercult challenge in Chapter 5 of Doom: The Dark Ages is all about finding and disrupting three hidden Cultist Circles. You won’t stumble into these by accident, so here’s exactly where to go and how to access each one without wasting time wandering around hell-blasted ruins.
Complete all three to get 1 Ruby, which you’ll definitely want if you’re chasing full upgrades or just like hoarding shiny rocks.

Cultist Circle #1 – The Chasm Landing Zone
To reach this one, head to the central circular platform in the middle of the city. Look down into the massive chasm underneath it.
You’ll need to defeat two Titans guarding the lower section before the landing zone unlocks. Once cleared, use your dragon to dismount at the hidden platform below.
The Cultist Circle is found at the bottom of this area, inside a puzzle zone with barely any enemies. You’ll know you’re in the right spot if it feels too quiet for Doom.
Cultist Circle #2 – Left Hell Carrier (Post-Super Shotgun)
After you grab the Super Shotgun, keep pushing forward until you reach a corridor. Look for a door on your right. Inside, use your Shield Throw to break the metal chain blocking the path.
Next, Shield Charge the nearby crate, climb on top of it, and follow the wooden walkway. Drop down into a hidden room. The Cultist Circle is waiting just to your left inside this secret area.
Cultist Circle #3 – Right Hell Carrier Courtyard
Fly over to the right-most Hell Carrier in the city. Land in the courtyard where there’s a Sentinel Shrine.
From there, look to the right side of the shrine. You’ll see a path between two buildings with some Gold on the ground. Head through and drop into a hole.
At the bottom, you’ll enter a cave. That’s where the final Cultist Circle is tucked away.
