If you’re getting the "Please use a CPU that supports the AVX instruction set" error when starting FragPunk, you need to enable AVX in your BIOS. Here’s a simple way to do it based on your motherboard brand.

1. Enable AVX in BIOS

For ASUS Motherboards

  1. Restart your PC and repeatedly press F8, ESC, or Delete during boot.

  2. Enter BIOS and look for "AVX Related Controls."

  3. Find "AVX2" and change it from Disabled to Enabled.

  4. Press F10 to save and exit.

  5. Restart your PC and try launching the game.

For Gigabyte Motherboards

  1. Restart your PC and press Delete to enter BIOS.

  2. Press F2 to enter Advanced Mode.

  3. Go to "Frequency/Voltage Control" → "Advanced CPU Settings."

  4. Find "AVX Settings" and change it to User Defined.

  5. Change "AVX (Disabled)" to Enabled.

  6. Press F10 to save and exit.

  7. Restart your PC and launch FragPunk.

For MSI Motherboards

  1. Restart your PC and press Delete to enter BIOS.

  2. Press F7 to switch to Advanced Mode.

  3. Click on "OC" and find "AVX Support."

  4. Change it to Enabled.

  5. Press F10 to save and exit.

  6. Restart your PC and try playing the game.

Final Blurb

Once AVX is enabled, FragPunk should launch without issues. If you still see the error, check if your CPU actually supports AVX—some older processors don’t. Otherwise, updating your BIOS firmware might help.
