Istvan Toth wears one of the most stylish outfits in KCD2. You can get his hat, but unfortunately, you can't loot it normally in the game. However, there are ways to get it (if you don’t mind a little cheating). Read on and we’ll go over a quick guide on how to get Istvan Toth’s armor and hat.

Method 1: Looting His Hat (Legit Way)

  • After defeating Istvan Toth at Trosky Castle, you can find his Istvan’s Chaperon (hat) at the bottom of the castle.

  • Follow the blood trail leading down from where he fell.

  • Look near his grave/cross, and you should see the hat on the ground.

Downside: This method only gives you his hat, not the full outfit.

Method 2: Using Console Commands (Cheat Mode)

To get Istvan Toth’s full armor set, you need to enable developer mode and use console commands.

Step 1: Enable Developer Mode

  1. Right-click Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in your Steam Library.

  2. Select Properties > Launch Options.

  3. Type:

    -devmode

  4. Launch the game.

Step 2: Open the Console

  • Press ~ (tilde key) to open the console.

Step 3: Add Items with Commands

Copy and paste the following commands into the console:

Step 4: Enjoy Your New Outfit

  • The jacket might clip into some armor, so it’s best worn alone.

  • The gloves give a huge stat buff but look similar to Cutpurse’s Gloves.

Final Thoughts

  • Legit players can only get Istvan’s Chaperon (hat) at the bottom of Trosky Castle after defeating him.

  • If you want the full outfit, you’ll need to use console commands.

  • It’s one of the best-looking sets in the game, but not the strongest armor-wise.

And there you have it! That’s all there is when it comes to getting Istvan Toth’s Armor in KCD2.
