Earning currency is essential in Avowed to buy better gear, supplies, and progress through the game. Here are some simple ways to earn money, and quickly too:

1. Choose the Right Options in Quests

  • Complete Quests: Completing main and side quests will reward you with currency. Some quests offer large amounts of money, while others may require you to negotiate.

  • Ask for Payment: In side quests, some quest-givers might not offer money upfront. If you ask for payment, they often will offer you currency in exchange for your efforts. Make sure to choose dialogue options that ask for payment where possible.

2. Explore Every Hole and Cave

  • Find Hidden Loot: Throughout the world, there are many hidden spots, such as caves, holes in walls, or underwater treasures. These areas often contain chests or valuable loot, which you can sell for a good amount of currency.

  • Treasure: Always explore areas that seem suspicious or hidden, as they can lead to treasures that sell for a significant amount—some even over 500 currency.

3. Sell Items You Aren’t Using

  • Inventory Management: You’ll collect plenty of items during your journey—many of which you won’t need. Sell unnecessary gear to traders to earn extra currency.

  • Unique and Valuable Items: Items like unique weapons, shields, and armor can be sold for a good amount. Check the selling price by hovering over items in your inventory. Low-tier items may be broken down for materials, while higher-tier items should be sold for a profit.

  • Weightless Items: Keep in mind that unique clothing and accessories don’t have weight, so they’re easy to sell without worrying about inventory space.

If you focus on these things—completing quests, exploring for treasure, and selling unwanted items—you can earn currency quickly and keep your gear upgraded in Avowed.
