Henry’s adventures are hard on his wardrobe, but luckily, fixing them is pretty easy if you know where to go and have a bit of Groschen (or the right tools). Let’s break it down with a quick guide on repairing boots and clothes:

Option 1: Visit the Pros (Tailor or Cobbler)

The easiest and least stressful way to repair your clothes and boots is to hand them over to someone who actually knows what they’re doing.

For Clothes:

  1. Find a Tailor:

    • Bartoshek in Troskowitz is a good starting option. Tailors specialize in fixing torn-up shirts, pants, and anything else that’s not armor or leather.

  2. Choose the "Repair" Option:

    • Talk to the tailor and select the repair menu. You’ll see a list of your clothing items along with the repair costs.

  3. Pay the Groschen:

    • Tailors don’t work for free, so make sure you’ve got enough Groschen on hand. The good news? They’ll have your outfit looking good as new in no time.

For Boots (and Other Leather):

  1. Find a Cobbler:

    • Head to Matthew in Trosky Castle, or any cobbler you find along your travels. Cobblers specialize in repairing boots, gloves, and other leather goods.

  2. Select the "Repair" Option:

    • Like with tailors, talk to the cobbler, choose what you want fixed, and check the cost.

  3. Hand Over the Groschen:

    • Once you’ve paid, your boots will be ready to carry you through more misadventures.

Option 2: DIY Repairs (Tailor’s or Cobbler’s Kit)

If you’re short on time, money, or patience, you can repair your clothes and boots yourself. All you need are the appropriate repair kits.

For Clothes:

  1. Get a Tailor’s Kit:

    • You can buy one from a tailor or occasionally find them in loot.

  2. Open Your Inventory:

    • Select the Tailor’s Kit, tap "Use," and a window will pop up showing all your damaged clothing.

  3. Repair Your Clothes:

    • Pick the items you want to fix, check how much durability the kit will use, and confirm. Kits don’t last forever, so don’t try to repair your entire wardrobe in one go.

For Boots:

  1. Grab a Cobbler’s Kit:

    • These are sold by cobblers or sometimes found in chests.

  2. Select the Kit in Your Inventory:

    • Like with the Tailor’s Kit, choose the Cobbler’s Kit and use it.

  3. Fix Your Leather Gear:

    • Pick your boots (or other leather items), confirm the repairs, and watch as they magically look less like you’ve walked through every swamp in Bohemia.

Bonus Tips

  • Level Up Your Maintenance Skill:
Higher skill means more effective repairs and less kit durability wasted. If your repairs barely make a difference, maybe leave it to the professionals for now.

  • Buy Extras:
Always keep a Tailor’s Kit and Cobbler’s Kit in your inventory. You never know when Henry will take another beating—or roll in the mud again.

  • Armor Is Different:
Clothes and leather items are repaired with Tailor’s and Cobbler’s Kits. For metal armor, you’ll need an Armourer’s Kit or a visit to the blacksmith.
