Lost Honour is a side quest that starts when you encounter Jezhek of Holohlavy in the Kuttenberg region. He’s located at some crossroads southwest of Horschan.

Here’s a quick quest guide and walkthrough for Lost Honor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

1. Starting the Quest

  • Jezhek tries to rob you, but he’s not serious about it.

  • You can:

    • Fight him (stop when he surrenders).

    • Use speech or skill checks to talk him down.

  • No matter what, he reveals he lost his armor and horse to Zavish of Garbow after a bad wager in Sigismund’s Camp.

Your job: Get his gear back.

2. Finding Zavish in Sigismund’s Camp

  • The camp guards will stop you. Tell them you’re here for Jezhek, and they’ll let you in.

  • Look for Zavish’s tent near the fence in the center of the camp.

  • Zavish is often sitting on a bench, near a shield with a black eagle and three white stones.

3. Talking to Zavish

  • Save your game before speaking to him!

  • To convince Zavish to duel, you must pass a skill check:

    • Domination (24+ recommended) – Easier than Warfare.

    • Warfare (very high needed) – Harder to pass.

    • Use Charisma – Wearing noble clothes or drinking alcohol can boost your success rate.

  • If you fail the check, you must steal the gear (very difficult).

4. Winning the Duel Against Zavish

The duel has three rounds, each using a different weapon type.

A. Round 1 – Polearm Duel (Hardest Round)

  • You need a high polearm stat (10+), or you’ll struggle.

  • Strategy:

    • Look for openings and change attack directions often.

    • Try to push Zavish into a corner to limit his attacks.

    • If it’s too hard, lose this round and focus on the next two.

B. Round 2 – One-Handed Weapon & Shield Duel (Easier Round)

  • Recommended weapon: Captain’s Mace (best one-handed choice).

  • Strategy:

    • Target his right side to avoid hitting his shield.

    • Overhead attacks work well after he finishes a combo.

    • Block & parry to minimize damage.

C. Round 3 – Longsword Duel (Final Round, Easy to Win)

  • Recommended weapon: Battle Longsword or Duelling Longsword.

  • Strategy:

    • Block & counter right after Zavish attacks.

    • Master strikes & perfect blocks deal heavy damage.

    • Use thrust attacks when he’s recovering.

You only need to win 2 out of 3 rounds!

5. Retrieving Jezhek’s Gear

  • Talk to Zavish after the duel to find out where the gear is.

  • Go to his green tent (same place you first met him).

  • Open the chest inside and grab:

    • Jezhek’s Armor

    • A Brigandine (extra loot!)

Finding Jezhek’s Horse

  • The horse is near the eastern entrance of the camp.

  • It’s easy to spot—it has yellow gear on it.

6. Returning the Gear to Jezhek

  • Ride the horse to a small inn east of Miskowitz (near Kuttenberg).

  • Stop in the garden area of the inn.

  • The quest marker can be a bit buggy, so wait for the objective to update before dismounting.

Final Rewards

  • Jezhek thanks you and gives you a powerful set of spurs.

  • The quest is now complete!

Quick Tips:

Save before talking to Zavish.
If struggling with the duel, focus on the one-handed & longsword fights.
Use alcohol to boost charisma before the skill check.
Don’t forget to grab the Brigandine—extra loot!
