MegaBonk Character Tier List | Best Characters Ranked
Each character in MegaBonk starts with a unique weapon and passive ability, which sets the tone for your run. Some characters are top-tier monsters with scaling that snowballs into late-game destruction, while others are situational or still waiting on balancing. Here’s the full tier list, but note its still a WIP!
S Tier – Best Overall
CL4NK
Weapon: Revolver – Fires multiple bullets.
Passive: Crit Happens – Gain +1% Crit Chance per level.
Why: Crit scaling is busted in MegaBonk, and Revolver stays strong from start to finish.
→ See the full Cl4NK build guide here
Robinette
Weapon: Bow – Piercing arrows.
Passive: Stonks – +1% Gold Gain per level, extra damage scaling from gold held.
Why: Gold scaling means faster upgrades and more damage the longer you survive.
→ See the full Robinette build guide here
Megachad
Weapon: Aura – AoE damage around you.
Passive: Flex – Stops damage and stuns enemies, cooldown reduced by 0.2 per level.
Why: Flex makes you nearly unkillable in clutch moments, pairing perfectly with Aura’s constant chip.
A Tier – Strong Picks
Calcium
Weapon: Bone – Bones bounce off enemies.
Passive: Speed Demon – Speed increases over time, reset when hit. Damage also scales with speed.
Why: High skill cap. Incredible damage if you avoid hits, but punishing when sloppy.
Sir Oofie
Weapon: Sword – Slashes multiple enemies.
Passive: Reinforced – Gain +1% Armor per level.
Why: The tank king. Slow but pairs well with lifesteal or regen builds.
Bush
Weapon: Sniper Rifle – Piercing shots with manual aim.
Passive: Bullseye – Marks random enemies, hitting them causes explosions.
Why: Explosions delete groups, but requires precise aim to shine.
B Tier – Decent Options
Ogre
Weapon: Axe – Spinning axes with AoE.
Passive: Warrior – +1% Damage per level.
Why: Straightforward damage scaling, solid but lacks unique tricks.
Monke
Weapon: Bananarang – Returning bananas.
Passive: Monke Grip – Wall climb, +2 Max HP per level.
Why: Climbing is fun but niche. The bonus HP is decent, but scaling is slower than crit or gold.
C Tier – Updating Soon/Still Testing
Athena
Weapon: Aegis – Defensive barrier weapon.
Passive:
Why: Struggles early, but Aegis gets better with size and attack speed scaling. Still a tough start.
Vlad
Weapon:
Passive: Synergizes with Blood Magic
Why: Prioritize Blood Magic damage for Tier 3 boss fights. A strong specialist pick but not as flexible.
Tony McZoom
Weapon: Wireless Dagger.
Passive:
Why: Unlock by completing challenges. Kit still untested.
Amog
Weapon: Bottle Throw – Short-range bottle toss.
Passive:
Why: Known issue with short bottle throw range, needs balancing to shine.

Passive:
Why: Not much testing yet
