Review: Awaria
Vanripper, the creator of Helltaker, has released another amazing game. It’s fun, fast, and full of cool characters, great music, and exciting challenges.
At first, the game can feel a little tricky. The first 10 minutes might be confusing because you don’t know exactly what to do. But as you keep playing, it all starts to make sense. You’ll fix machines while dodging attacks from ghost girls who try to stop you. New challenges show up as you play, like tougher ghosts and more dangerous hazards. The game is simple to learn but gets harder and more exciting the longer you play.
If you play on normal mode, the game is challenging but fair. Each level feels rewarding when you beat it, especially the harder ones. Hard mode, though, is much tougher. It’s great if you love a serious challenge, but it might be frustrating for some players. If you stick with it, finishing hard mode will feel like a big achievement (We think… We may or may not quite have beaten it all the way yet on Hard mode…).
The game looks beautiful. Vanripper’s art style is back, and the ghost girls are full of personality. Each ghost feels unique, and their designs are fun and memorable. If you were a fan of Helltaker then you’lll love the care and creativity that went into these characters.
The music is another great thing about it. Mittsies, who also worked on Helltaker, created the soundtrack. The songs are energetic and fit perfectly with the fast-paced gameplay.
One of the best things about this game is that it’s free. You can play the whole thing without spending any money. If you really enjoy it, you can support Vanripper by buying the artbook. It’s a nice way to say thank you and get some extra artwork.
This game is short, but it’s packed with fun. It’s challenging, rewarding, and full of some charm. It really doesn’t matter if you’re playing for the cool art, the great music, or the fun gameplay, there’s something here that we think a lot of people would like. To repeat, if you liked Helltaker you’ll love this game too.
Why You Should Play It:
It’s completely free.
Fun and challenging gameplay.
Beautiful art and music.
Hard mode for those who want a bigger challenge.
It’s a great game that feels like a gift. Download it, give it a try, and enjoy fixing machines, dodging ghosts, and maybe even kissing a ghost or two!:O
