How to Play Schedule 1 On Mac

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.
If you’re on a Mac and hoping to jump into Schedule 1, you’re probably staring at the Steam page wondering if the “Windows only” tag is a joke. It’s not. As of now, there’s no official Mac version—and it doesn’t look like one’s coming anytime soon. But that doesn’t mean you’re completely out of luck. With a little extra effort (and a willingness to tinker), you can still play the game on a Mac using some clever workarounds.
Official Support

Right now, the game is Windows-only. There’s no official Mac or Linux version, BUT Tyler confirmed it was a plan after release once he aquired a Mac and learns to code on it. So if you were hoping for a clean download from Steam onto your MacBook you might have to wait a while.
Playing on Mac Anyway
Even without official support, people are getting the game to run on Mac using tools like:
Whisky
Crossover
Game Porting Toolkit
Parallels (if you hate yourself)
These tools basically trick the game into thinking it’s on a Windows machine. It’s not perfect, but according to other Mac players, it works well enough for now.
Final Blurb
No Mac support? Technically, yes, but it will come in the future (we just don’t know exactly when). But if you’re determined, there are ways to run Schedule 1 just fine on a Mac. Just know it’ll take a bit of setup—and Apple won’t make it easy. Then again, gaming on a Mac never is.
