What to Do After "Continue Your Mission" in AI Limit

Alright, so you just:
Beat the Tree Guardians
Talked to Charon
Chose "Continue your mission"
Got the Guardian set
Teleported back to the Sewer Confluence (yes, the place from the start of the game)
And now you're wondering if the game bugged out or just thinks you're smarter than you are. (It’s the second one.)
Let’s explain what just happened.
What Just Happened?
That whole side trip to the Courtyard of the Tree was part of the Boundless Stars / Second Dawn ending route. You got an optional power boost and some context, then the game unceremoniously dumped you back where things started.
You didn’t mess anything up.
But here’s the thing: the Courtyard is not the end. It’s just a detour. You’re still on track for the true or "good" endings. The game just doesn’t feel like telling you what to do next.
Where to Go Next
You’re supposed to return to the main path, specifically:
Hagios Patir – Upper Level > Path of Epitome
This is the real “point of no return.” You go back to that Branch and head forward to fight Loskid, then move on to Elysium.
How to Get Back on Track
Teleport to Hagios Patir – Upper Level > Path of Epitome
Make sure you’ve done all the NPC stuff you care about (Shirley, Delpha, etc.)
Move forward and fight Loskid (but maybe make a backup save before you talk to her)
Then use the Golden Branch to open the portal
This leads you to The Sphere – Elysium
Final boss time: Aether, the Father
After the fight, you’ll finally get that ending choice:
Accept = Boundless Stars
Decline (with Shirley quest done) = Second Dawn
