Broken Arrow How to Add Bots
Written by Jason B.
You can add enemy bots in Broken Arrow skirmish mode, but there is no option yet for friendly AI. Only opposing teams can be filled with bots right now.
Here’s how it works and what the current limits are.
How to Add Enemy Bots
Setting Up a Bot Match
To play with bots:
Go to the skirmish setup screen
Pick a map
Lock all empty player slots on both teams
Enable AI slots for the enemy side only
You can create 1v1, 1v2, or more... but the bots only play one specialization at a time.
Match Requirements
Your team must have at least one player, and the enemy team must have one bot or player for the match to start. Locking other slots will remove them from the game.
Friendly bots are not supported yet, so you will be on your own unless you bring real players.
Friendly AI Not Available Yet
There is no way to add bots to your own team as of now. This feature was not included at launch.
According to the developers' Q&A, friendly AI will be added in a future update, but no date has been confirmed. Many players are waiting for this to play offline co-op or solo with backup.
Final Blurb
Broken Arrow lets you fight enemy bots, but if you're looking for teammates that do not need voice chat, you’ll have to wait.
For now, keep it simple... pick a map, lock what you do not need, and send it.
