Can You Kill Customers in Schedule 1?

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.

If you’ve ever accidentally drop-kicked a potential customer or intentionally tested your product's side effects a little too directly—don’t panic. In Schedule 1, you can absolutely kill customers, dealers, or just about anyone else walking around town. But what happens next? Do they stay dead? Does the game break? Here's the deal.

Yes, You Can Kill NPCs and Customers Can Die

  • Potential customers? Yep.

  • Dealers? Also yes.

  • Friendly neighborhood gun runners? Especially yes.

You can attack just about anyone. The game won’t stop you—and sometimes they even fight back. But wiping out NPCs can cause short-term chaos if they’re part of your contact chain or tied to unlocking a new dealer.

Do Killed NPCs Respawn?

Yes, all NPCs respawn. Eventually.

  • Most of the time it taking anywhere from a few in-game hours to a few in-game days.

  • The body will disappear, and they’ll eventually return to the map—sometimes stuck, sometimes standing around awkwardly like they’ve just had a near-death experience.

  • Even if you chuck their body in a river or explode them in an alley, they’re coming back. You didn’t delete them. You just gave them an impolite time-out.

What If They’re Part of a Quest or Dealer Unlock?

You're still okay. NPCs tied to dealer chains (like the weapons guy) will also respawn. If you’ve killed someone mid-progress:

  • Wait a day or two

  • Sleep/save/quit to desktop and reload

  • Eventually, they’ll show back up—possibly at a different location, or weirdly stuck in a door

As long as they’re still in your Contacts, you haven’t lost them permanently.

Final Blurb

Yes, you can kill customers in Schedule 1, but it’s not the end of the world—or your empire. They’ll respawn in time, sometimes confused, sometimes broken, but always ready to do business again. Try not to make it a habit… unless sewing chaos is your brand.
