Elden Ring Nightreign Where is the Fitting Mirror Change Skins

You can only use the fitting mirror to change your appearance after defeating two Nightlords. The mirror isn’t available from the start, and there’s no way to unlock skins or change outfits until you hit that milestone.

Once you've taken down Gladius and any second Nightlord, the mirror room opens up in Roundtable Hold.

How to Unlock the Mirror Room

After your second Nightlord kill, you’ll automatically return to Roundtable Hold and get a short interaction with the Iron Menial.

He’ll mention that a "viewing mirror" has been set up for you.

From there:

  • Go to the east wing of Roundtable Hold

  • Look for the room across from the entrance to the wing

  • You’ll now see a fireplace and a newly added dressing room

Walk in and interact with the mirror to start customizing.

What the Fitting Mirror Does

The mirror lets you equip any skins you’ve unlocked for your current Nightfarer.

You’ll start with three:

  • Default skin

  • Dawn skin (14,000 Murk)

  • Darkness skin (35,000 Murk)

Additional skins, including legacy outfits based on older FromSoftware games, only unlock after you beat more Nightlords and eventually the final boss.

You can also unlock one more unique skin per character by completing their Remembrance storyline.

Tips for Using It

  • Skins are locked to each Nightfarer

  • The Murk cost is high, so focus on your favorite first

  • Some skins are just cosmetic, but others are linked to major achievements or story completions

Final Blurb

The fitting mirror is easy to use once you unlock it, but it’ll take a couple boss kills to even see it. After that, you’re free to change outfits, unlock cosmetics, and finally ditch that starter look... once you can afford it.
