Bonus XP is a great way to train your skills faster in RuneScape 3 (RS3). It gives you extra experience when you do activities like skilling or combat. Here’s how you can earn Bonus XP in the game:

1. Participate in Events

RuneScape has special events like Double XP where you can get bonus XP. During these events, you can train your skills and get 2x the amount of normal experience and collect currency to use on items that grant bonus experience. There are also things like Holiday events where you collect currency and can get bonus experience that way too.

2. Use Fallen Stars

Fallen stars are items that give Bonus XP on a skill of your choice. You can get these from Treasure Hunter or by participating in certain events (like mentioned above). Use a star to choose the skill you want to boost and it will add Bonus XP to it.

3. Wear Skilling Outfits

Some outfits in the game give you Bonus XP when you train specific skills. For example:

  • Artisan’s Outfit: Bonus XP for Crafting.

  • Lumberjack Outfit: Bonus XP for Woodcutting.

You can get these outfits from events or over time by skilling.

4. Join a Clan

If you’re part of a clan with a Citadel, you can earn Bonus XP by helping out in the Citadel. Just contribute resources, and you’ll be rewarded with extra XP for your skills.

5. Play Minigames

Certain minigames, like Stealing Creation, reward you with items that give Bonus XP. These items can be used to boost specific skills, making it a fun way to earn more XP while playing. With that said, most minigames are relatively dead these days and usually not worth the effort if XP is your goal.

6. Daily Challenges

Complete your Daily Challenges for Bonus XP. These challenges are available for all skills and reward you with XP lamps or Bonus XP after you finish them alongside a Treasure Hunter key which can get you even more.

7. Treasure Hunter

Treasure Hunter is a feature where you can use keys to unlock rewards. Many prizes include Bonus XP stars or lamps for specific skills. Keep an eye out for Treasure Hunter promotions that focus on Bonus XP if you’re ok with spending real life cash.

Tips for Using Bonus XP

  • Use Bonus XP on skills that are slow or expensive to train, like Construction or Herblore.

  • Pair Bonus XP with other XP boosts, like portable skilling stations or auras, to get the most out of it.

  • Save Bonus XP for special events, like Double XP Live, to maximize your training gains.
