Antisparks Guide - Haste: Broken Worlds

Antisparks are the stuff you grind for in Haste when you’re tired of getting destroyed by snakes in Shard 6. They’re the game’s meta-currency—the thing you spend outside of your runs to unlock permanent upgrades, buy new gear, and maybe stand a chance next time.

What Are Antisparks?

They’re a shiny little currency you earn mostly by finishing Shards. You use them in the main menu upgrade screen to buy things like:

  • More health

  • More energy

  • Extra lives

  • Unlockable items for future runs

It’s the long-term progress stuff. The “I died but at least I got something out of it” reward.

How Do You Get Antisparks?

This part’s a little messy.

  • Beat Shards… That’s the main way. You usually get a handful after finishing a full run.

  • Start and quit a Shard. Weirdly, just starting and quitting a Shard gives you about 10 Antisparks.

  • Endless Mode? Not great. You get nothing from it unless you complete full rounds, and even then it’s not reliable.

  • Performance doesn’t matter that much, since aperfect A-rank won’t get you a ton more than just surviving with a C.

In short: the better you play and the more Shards you clear, the faster you’ll earn. But even then, it’s kind of a slow drip.

Why Does It Feel So Grind-y?

Because it is.

Upgrades cost a lot—starting around 250 Antisparks and quickly going up from there. That means:

  • Expect to grind 2–4 full runs for just one upgrade.

  • If you're not great at the game yet, it takes even longer.

  • Some players have called for upgrades to be cheaper or for more Antisparks to drop per run.

It’s a classic roguelite loop: play, die, repeat, crawl forward. Only here, the crawling is really slow unless you're already doing well.

Tips to Speed Things Up

  • Replay easier Shards to farm more quickly.

  • Look for synergy builds early so you can get farther in each run.

  • Skip Endless Mode for now unless you just want practice—no Antisparks = no reward.

Final Blurb

Antisparks are what you use to get stronger in Haste, but earning them feels like jogging uphill in flip-flops. If you’re struggling to get enough, just know you’re not alone—and maybe skip Endless Mode if you value your time. Beat Shards, grab what you can, and slowly build your way toward that third life you desperately need.

And yes, the Snake in Shard 6 is still the worst.
