What Are Tears in HoloCure?

Tears are a weapon in HoloCure that shoot projectiles (great for hitting enemies from a distance and dealing steady damage). They work well with crowd control and can become very powerful when upgraded or combined with other items.

How to Get Tears in HoloCure

1. Check Your Character

  • Not Every Character Can Get Tears: Some characters might not have Tears in their weapon pool. Check your character’s possible weapons before the run (you’ll usually see Tears in their options during upgrades if it’s available).

  • Unlock More Characters: Use the Gacha to unlock characters that work well with Tears. Those with bonuses to projectiles are especially good.

2. Leave Room for New Weapons

  • Don’t Fill All Slots Early: Avoid grabbing too many weapons right away. This keeps space open for Tears to appear as an option when leveling up.

  • Use Rerolls: If Tears don’t show up, reroll your weapon choices during upgrades.

3. Boost Your Luck

Luck affects the items you see when leveling up or opening chests:

  • Increase Luck Stat: Some characters have natural Luck boosts. You can also pick up upgrades that raise Luck during the game.

  • Farm in High-Drop Stages: Some stages or enemies might drop more items, increasing your chances of finding Tears.

4. Upgrade and Combine

Once you get Tears:

  • Upgrade Quickly: Focus on leveling up Tears to make them stronger.

  • Use Anvils: Anvils let you boost weapon stats even more.

  • Create Collaborations: Combine Tears with certain other weapons to create a powerful Collab weapon. Experiment to see which combos work best.

How to Use Tears

  • Control Crowds: Tears are good for hitting lots of enemies at once. Position yourself to make the most of their range.

  • Boss Fights: Tears’ consistent damage is great for whittling down tough bosses.

  • Pair with Good Items: Items that boost projectiles (like speed or size upgrades) make Tears even better.

Quick Tips

  1. Plan Ahead: Decide on a Tears-focused build before starting your run.

  2. Experiment: Try different characters and builds to see how Tears fit into your strategy.

  3. Keep Upgrading: Max out Tears and their possible Collab form to unleash their full power.
