How Many Levels in DOOM: the Dark Ages?

Doom: The Dark Ages is shaping up to be a monster of a game... and not just because of the demons. Let’s break down exactly how much ripping and tearing you’ll be doing this time around.
Total Level Count
22 levels confirmed in the base game.
Each level is estimated to take about 1 hour on a normal playthrough.
That’s roughly 22+ hours for the full campaign.
For reference, DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal had about 13 levels each, averaging 10 to 15 hours total. Dark Ages will nearly double that.
Level Types
Slayer Levels: The core Doom FPS experience. Expect at least 15-16 full-length Slayer levels.
Mech (Atlan) Levels: 3 levels where you pilot the massive Atlan mech.
Dragon (Serrat) Levels: 4 levels involving the new dragon mount. These are mixed with Slayer gameplay, not fully flying-only levels.
Note: Mech and dragon sections make up about 15-20% of the campaign. Most of your time will still be on foot doing what Doom Slayer does best.
Level Length
Main Slayer levels: About 40 to 60 minutes each (exploration and secrets included).
Atlan/Dragon sections: Expected to be shorter, 15 to 30 minutes per segment, often mixed into standard levels.
Final Blurb
If you thought previous Doom games were meaty, The Dark Ages is looking like a full buffet. With 22 levels, mixed mech and dragon sections, and an estimated 20-25 hours of gameplay, this will easily be the longest single-player Doom campaign yet. Get ready to rip, tear... and ride a dragon.
