How to Avoid Leviathans in Murky Divers
Leviathans are one of the deadliest creatures you’ll encounter in Murky Divers. They are huge, fast, and can kill you in seconds. Avoiding them is critical for survival, especially in deeper dives. Here’s a guide on how to stay safe and avoid Leviathans:
What Is a Leviathan?
A Leviathan is a massive sea creature that roams the deeper parts of the map. It is highly aggressive and will attack divers who get too close. Leviathans are usually found in open water or near valuable resources.
How to Spot a Leviathan
Before you can avoid a Leviathan, you need to know how to identify one:
Sound: Listen for deep, rumbling noises or loud roars. Leviathans make unique sounds when they’re nearby.
Movement: Look for shadows or large shapes moving in the distance.
Water Disturbance: Leviathans often cause bubbles or ripples in the water before they appear.
How to Avoid Leviathans
1. Stay Near Cover
Leviathans patrol open areas, so avoid swimming in the middle of large, open spaces.
Stick close to walls, wreckage, or underwater structures. These can block the Leviathan’s line of sight and give you a place to hide.
2. Watch Your Lights
Bright lights can attract a Leviathan. Turn off your flashlight or glow sticks if you think one is nearby.
Use the Flashlight Module sparingly, especially in deeper areas.
3. Move Quietly
Loud noises, like using tools or dropping items, can alert a Leviathan to your location.
Swim slowly and avoid sudden movements to lower the chances of being detected.
4. Use the EMP Module
If a Leviathan is close and you’re in danger, activate the EMP Module to stun it. This gives you time to escape.
Keep in mind that the EMP has a cooldown, so use it wisely.
5. Use Distractions
Drop items like glow sticks or flares away from your location. This can divert the Leviathan’s attention.
If you’re diving with a team, one person can create a distraction while others escape (but only if it’s safe to do so).
6. Plan Your Path
Before you dive, check the map and plan a route with plenty of cover.
Avoid areas known for Leviathan sightings unless you absolutely have to go there.
What to Do If a Leviathan Sees You
If a Leviathan notices you, follow these steps:
DON’T PANIC: Stay calm so you can make smart decisions.
Find Cover: Swim to the nearest structure, wreck, or cave to hide.
Use the EMP: If it gets too close, use the EMP Module to stun it and escape.
Swim Away Quickly: Once it’s stunned or distracted, swim toward a safe area or return to your submarine.
Leviathans are tough, but you can avoid them by staying aware and planning ahead. Use cover, keep quiet, and always have a backup plan. If you’re diving in dangerous areas, the EMP Module is your best defense. Stay safe, and good luck out there!
