How to Boost Farming in OSRS

In Old School RuneScape (OSRS), you can temporarily boost your Farming level using various items. Here are some options:

1. Garden Pie

  • Boost Amount: +3 levels

  • How to Obtain: Garden pies can be purchased from the Grand Exchange or made using the Cooking skill.

  • Important Note: Consists of two bites, each providing a +3 Farming boost.

2. Cider

  • Boost Amount: +1 level

  • How to Obtain: Cider can be brewed using the Cooking skill or purchased from other players.

  • Important Note: Provides a temporary Farming boost but reduces Attack and Strength levels.

3. Mature Cider

  • Boost Amount: +2 levels

  • How to Obtain: Mature cider is obtained through the brewing process, requiring a higher Cooking level, or can be purchased from other players.

  • Important Note: Offers a slightly higher boost than regular cider but also reduces Attack and Strength levels.

4. Spicy Stew (Brown Spice)

  • Boost Amount: -5 to +5 levels (random)

  • How to Obtain: After completing the "Evil Dave" subquest in "Recipe for Disaster," add up to 3 doses of brown spice to a stew.

  • Important Note: The effect is random; it can either increase or decrease your Farming level.

5. Farming Cape

  • Boost Amount: +1 level

  • How to Obtain: Available to players who have achieved level 99 Farming.

  • Important Note: Wearing the Farming Cape allows you to temporarily boost your Farming level by 1.

Extra Tips

  • Combining Boosts: While you cannot stack multiple visible boosts, you can use an invisible boost alongside a visible one.

  • Plan Ahead: Use these boosts strategically when planting higher-level crops or completing quests requiring a higher Farming level.
