In Old School RuneScape (OSRS), you can temporarily boost your Mining level through a few different methods. Here are some wayas to boost mining as we head into 2025:

1. Dragon Pickaxe Special Attack

  • Boost Amount: +3 (visible boost)

  • How to Use It: Activate the special attack of the Dragon Pickaxe.

  • Requirements: Level 61 Mining to use the special attack; Level 60 Attack to wield the pickaxe.

  • Important Note: The boost lasts for a short duration, so use it when you need a quick Mining level increase.

2. Dwarven Stout

  • Boost Amount: +1 (visible boost)

  • How to Get It: Purchase from the Falador pub or brew it using the Cooking skill.

  • Important Note: Also boosts Smithing by +1; however, it lowers Attack, Strength, and Defense by -2.

3. Mature Dwarven Stout

  • Boost Amount: +2 (visible boost)

  • How to Get It: Brew it using the Cooking skill with the chance of obtaining a mature version.

  • Important Note: Similar to the regular Dwarven Stout but provides a higher boost.

4. Brown Spicy Stew

  • Boost Amount: Randomly between -5 and +5 (visible boost)

  • How to Get It:

    • Complete the "Evil Dave" subquest in "Recipe for Disaster."

    • Add up to 3 doses of brown spice to a stew.

  • Important Note: The effect is random; it can either increase or decrease your Mining level.

5. Mining Guild

  • Boost Amount: +7 (invisible boost)

  • How to Access: Requires level 60 Mining to enter.

  • Important Note: The invisible boost increases your chances of successfully mining ores but does not allow you to mine ores above your current Mining level.

Extra Tips

  • Combining Boosts: You can combine the Dragon Pickaxe special attack with a Dwarven Stout for a total visible boost of +4.

And that’s it. Happy mining!
