So, you just bought a new trap, and now you’re staring at the screen, desperately trying to figure out how to equip it. You remember how easy it was in Orcs Must Die 3, but now? Now it’s an escape room puzzle.

Don’t worry—we’ve got you. Here’s how to change traps on both PC and Xbox, step by step, with minimal screaming.

PC Players: It’s Just a Button (Really.)

1. Press TAB.

2. Go to the "Traps" menu.

3. Swap out the traps you don’t want for the ones you do.

4. That’s it. Why was this so hard to find? Good question.

Xbox Players: Welcome to UI Limbo

1. Click one of the thumbsticks to open the stats menu (because obviously, that’s where trap selection belongs).

2. Press RB until you find the Traps tab.

3. Now use the left stick like a mouse, click and drag the traps you want to swap.
