How to Change Your Voice in Mecha BREAK

How to Change Your Voice in Mecha BREAK

Written by Tyler Harris

You can change your voice in Mecha Break, but the character creator screen makes it confusing. It only previews the voices and doesn’t clearly show which one is selected. If you can’t change your voice yet, here’s how it works and when you can change it.

Character Creator Voice Problem

During character creation, the game lets you preview voices but doesn’t confirm the one you picked. Even if you select a voice and click “Continue,” it may look like it reset to the default.

This is a bug with how the UI works during creation. However, we’ve seen most players report that the voice you selected does apply once you start the game.

When You Can Fully Change It

Once you finish the intro mission and unlock the main hangar, you’ll gain access to full customization again. This includes changing your character’s voice, hairstyle, and appearance.

This happens about 15–20 minutes into the game, right after the tutorial.

How to Change Voice Later

If you want to switch voices after starting:

  1. Launch the game and reach the hangar

  2. Open the customization menu

  3. Go to the character section

  4. Select the voice you want

You can preview and apply the voice freely here without bugs.

Final Blurb

The voice selection bug in Mecha Break’s character creator is frustrating, but it doesn’t lock you in. Once you reach the hangar, you can safely change your voice at any time.

Just get through the tutorial and you’re good.
