How to Chat in Brighter Shores

Chatting in Brighter Shores helps you connect with other players. Here’s a simple guide to get started:

1. Turn on Chat Features

Chat may be turned off by default. To turn it on:

• Open the Settings menu by clicking the gear icon at the top of your screen.

• Find the option called Enable Social Features and turn it on.

Now you can use chat in the game!

2. Open the Chat Window

• Look for the Chat Tab at the bottom of your screen.

• Click the tab to open the chat window.

You’ll now see messages from other players and can send your own.

3. Send a Message

• Click in the text box at the bottom of the chat window.

• Type your message and press Enter to send it.

Your message will show up for everyone in the chat.

4. Change Chat Channels

There are different chat channels, like global, local, or guild chat. To switch:

• Click on the channel name in the chat window.

• Pick the channel you want to send your message to.

This makes sure the right people see your message.

5. Extra Tips

• Add Friends: After the tutorial, use the Friends List to add people and send private messages.

• Join the Community: You can also join Brighter Shores’ Discord server to meet even more players.
