Facing Zavish of Garbow in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 can be a tough duel, especially when both your weapons break. Don’t worry though—this guide will walk you through how to beat him, even when your polearm is useless. With a little patience and some smart tactics, you can win this fight without breaking a sweat!

  1. Start by preparing for the polearm fight. You’ll both likely break your polearms early, so expect a slow start where you’re both just hitting each other with broken weapons.

  2. Dodge, don’t block. Instead of trying to block his attacks, focus on dodging them. This is key for avoiding damage while conserving your energy for the next fight.

  3. Switch to another weapon if your polearm breaks. If you're struggling, ditch the broken polearm. Bring a second one, or swap to a sword and shield, which are much easier to use in this fight, especially if you're not used to polearms. Swords and shields are very effective in the following rounds.

  4. Get up close for clinches. Once the weapons are broken, clinching becomes your best bet. Get close and try to win a clinch to lock him down. This makes it hard for him to land any hits. With practice, you can win clinches easily.

  5. Use strength to your advantage. Winning clinches depends a lot on your strength. If your strength is higher than his, you’ll have an easier time landing the hold.

  6. Wear him down with fists if necessary. If you’re left with nothing but your fists, rely on unarmed attacks. Focus on getting clinches, and if you have a combo for choking him out, that’ll end the fight quickly.

  7. Be patient. This fight can take a while, especially in the polearm phase. Just keep dodging and wearing him down until you’re able to finish the next rounds more quickly with your other weapons.

By using these tips, you can finally beat Zavish of Garbow, even when your polearms break halfway through the fight!
