How to Fix Sound Issues in Schedule 1

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life.
If you’re playing Schedule 1 and everything looks fine but sounds like a broken walkie-talkie—or worse, there's just silence and no sound at all—don’t panic. This usually isn’t the game’s fault. Most of the time, it’s your audio drivers or some weird setting on your PC trying to be fancy. He'r’es how to fix

Step 1: Turn Off Spatial Audio Stuff
Windows loves turning on features no one asked for. One of them is Spatial Sound, like Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos. These can mess with your audio.
Right-click the little speaker icon in the bottom-right of your screen
Hover over Spatial Sound
Click Off
That’s it. Nothing magical. Just off.
Step 2: Update Your Audio Drivers
If your audio is still busted, your drivers might be outdated, broken, or just having a bad day.
Hit Windows + X, then click Device Manager
Find Sound, video and game controllers
Right-click your audio device
Choose Update driver
Click Search automatically
Let it do its thing
If it says you’re up to date, don’t trust it. Sometimes Windows lies. But try this anyway.
Step 3: Restart the Computer
Yes, the classic fix. Turn it off and on again. Sometimes, all your PC needs is a nap.
Step 4: Check the Game’s Audio Settings
Hop into Schedule 1’s settings and make sure sound isn’t muted or turned down. Seems obvious, but you’d be surprised. Also be sure to check YOUR audio output in the settings and make sure it is on the correct one (e.g. speaker or headset).
Final Blurb
No sound in Schedule 1? Probably not a bug—just Windows doing Windows things. Turn off the space-sound nonsense, update your drivers, and give your PC a fresh start. You’ll be back to hearing every explosion, cash drop, and angry NPC in no time.
