Where to Find Azura's Shrine
Head north of Cheydinhal, past Lake Arrius, into the Jerall Mountains. That’s where Azura’s Shrine is hiding. But Azura doesn’t just chat with anyone—show up between 6 AM and 8 PM, be at least Level 2, and bring Glow Dust as an offering.
How to Get Glow Dust
Glow Dust comes from those annoying Will-o'-the-Wisps. You’ll need silver, enchanted, or Daedric weapons to kill them. If monster hunting isn’t your thing, just buy it:
Ogier Georick – The Main Ingredient, Imperial City Market
Claudette Perrick – The Gilded Carafe, Imperial City Market
Calindil – Mystic Emporium (if your Mercantile skill is 50+)
The Gutted Mine Vampire Hunt
After your offering, Azura sends you to clear out 5 vampires in the Gutted Mine, just west of the shrine. Bring:
Fire weapons (vampires hate fire)
Potions of Cure Disease (unless you want to be a vampire)
Plenty of healing
Tip: Lure vampires out one by one. The last two hide behind a secret wall—look for a chain on the west side to open it.
Once they’re all dead, head back to Azura for your reward.
How to Use Azura's Star
Congrats, you now have Azura's Star—a reusable Grand Soul Gem. But it's empty when you get it.
Option 1: Use a weapon with Soul Trap (Umbra Sword works great).
Option 2: Cast the Soul Trap spell (need 25 Mysticism skill). Buy it from any Mages Guild:
Chorrol: Alberic Litte
Leyawiin: Alves Uvenim
Bravil: Delphine Jend
Skingrad: Druja or Sulinus Vassinus
Bruma: Selena Orania
Anvil: Thaurron
Once filled, use Azura’s Star to recharge enchanted gear. Then repeat forever.
Final Blurb
Azura’s Star is basically the best friend you didn’t know you needed. No more wasting gold on Soul Gems. Just trap, recharge, and keep swinging. Unless you forget to bring Cure Disease potions—then you’ll be swinging from the shadows as a vampire.
