Modules in ZERO Sievert allow you to upgrade and customize your base. Here’s a straightforward guide on how to install a module.

1. What Are Modules?

Modules are upgrades for your base that provide new functionalities like:

  • Crafting stations

  • Storage enhancements

  • Healing and recovery areas

  • Resource generation tools

You can find modules by purchasing blueprints or crafting them from materials you gather.

2. Gather the Necessary Items

Before you can install a module, you need:

  1. Blueprint: Buy it from vendors or find it as loot.

  2. Materials: Gather the resources required to craft the module. Check the blueprint for a list of required materials.

  3. Tools (if needed): Some modules might require tools, which can also be purchased or looted.

3. Craft the Module

  1. Go to the Crafting Bench:

    • At your base, find the crafting bench or relevant crafting station.

  2. Select the Module Blueprint:

    • Open the crafting menu and locate the module you want to build.

  3. Craft the Module:

    • Be sure you have all the necessary materials and craft the module. It will now appear in your inventory.

4. Install the Module

  1. Open the Base Building Menu:

    • Interact with the base terminal or designated building interface.

  2. Choose a Slot for the Module:

    • Select an empty module slot or replace an existing one if you’re upgrading.

  3. Install the Module:

    • Drag and drop the module from your inventory into the slot or click on it to confirm installation.

  4. Confirm and Build:

    • Once placed, confirm the installation. The module will now be ready for use.

Tips When Installing Modules

  • Plan Your Layout: Base space is limited so choose modules that fit your playstyle and needs.

  • Upgrade Smartly: Focus on crafting modules first if you want access to better weapons and gear.

  • Check Power Requirements: Some modules might need power. Make sure you’ve installed a generator or similar resource first.

  • Stock Materials: Always keep extra materials on hand for quick upgrades.
