How to Mix Ingredients in Schedule 1

Note: This guide covers content from Schedule 1, a satirical video game set in a fictional world. All items, recipes, and references are entirely made up and exist only in the game. Please don’t try any of this in real life!

Mixing in Schedule 1 is where things start getting a little weird—and a lot more profitable. Once you unlock the feature, you’ll be able to combine your plants with other ingredients to create custom products with extra effects. Some of them are useful. Some of them are dangerous. All of them sell.

Here’s how it works.

How to Unlock Mixing

You won’t be mixing from the jump. First, you need to finish the Mixing Mania mission. That’s when the game introduces the system properly.

  • Buy a Mixing Machine from the hardware store. It costs $500, so don’t blow your money on lava lamps beforehand.

  • Set it up at your base.

  • Interact with the machine to begin mixing.

How Mixing Works

Once you’re at the machine, the process is simple:

  1. Choose a plant — this is usually your base strain

  2. Add a mixer — something like Mouthwash, Chili, or Battery.

  3. Combine — and wait to see what comes out the other side.

You can also mix a mixed product with another ingredient to stack even more effects. This is how you get multi-effect product like something that’s both Energizing and Antigravity. Or something that makes people both Sneaky and Toxic. Very normal.

There are over a dozen mixable ingredients, most of which are found at the Gas Station. Some rare ones, like in-game Pseudo, unlock much later and are needed for other kinds of mixing.

Tips for Mixing

  • Experiment slowly. Not every combo works, and some mixes cancel each other out.

  • Watch your inventory. Mixed products take up space and can’t always be repackaged if you mess up.

  • Keep track of effects. Every mixer has a coded effect—like Energizing, Sneaky, or Foggy. Learn what does what to save money.

  • Don’t believe every calculator. Some online mixing tools get it wrong. The game allows shorter paths than they show.

Final Blurb

Mixing in Schedule 1 is a science. A gross, chaotic, science. Once you unlock it, you’re no longer just a dealer—you’re an artist.
