The Air Pot is one of the more advanced grow options in Schedule 1, but if your plants are stuck doing absolutely nothing—don’t worry, it’s not bugged. You probably just skipped a step. Here’s how to actually get your fancy $120 pot working.

What Is the Air Pot?

  • Cost: $120

  • Effect: +15% growth speed

  • Trade-off: +30% moisture drain

The Air Pot grows things faster, but it also dries out faster. So your plants will need more frequent watering—either by you or by a botanist.

Why Isn’t My Plant Growing?

If it’s not growing at all, the issue is almost always missing hardware. Here's what the Air Pot actually needs to work:

  • A basic frame (plant support structure)

    • This costs around $40 at the hardware store.

    • You have to place the frame directly on the same tiles as the Air Pot.

  • A lamp mounted to the frame

    • No light = no growth.

    • The only exception is the cheap plastic starter pot that doesn’t need a lamp. Every other setup does.

  • It must not be 4:00 AM

    • Plants pause growth at night.

    • You need to sleep to progress time past 4 AM, or wait until daylight.

  • Botanist or player must water it

    • Because of the high moisture drain, Air Pots dry out faster.

    • If you’re using a botanist, make sure they’re assigned to the correct pot and actually have access.

Final Blurb

The Air Pot is great for speeding up your grow time—if you give it what it needs. No frame? No light? No water? No growth. Set up the full structure, slap a lamp on it, and watch your little leafy investment finally earn its keep.
