Charisma in KCD2 is great for impressing people, winning speech checks, and maybe convincing someone to forget you stole their apples. If your Charisma feels stuck and you can’t figure out why your fancy clothes aren’t doing the trick, here’s a simple guide to get Henry looking (and smelling) his best.

Step 1: Get Clean (Seriously, Take a Bath)

No one likes talking to someone covered in dirt and blood—so start by visiting a bathhouse.

  1. Pay for the “Full Service” option.

    • This will clean Henry, heal him, and even feed him, curing any penalties from hunger or injuries.

  2. Bathhouses also fix penalties from damaged or stained clothes, which can tank your Charisma even if you’re wearing the fanciest outfit in Bohemia.

Step 2: Dress for Success

High Charisma isn’t just about clothes—it’s about clean, maintained clothes. Here’s what to do:

  1. Repair Your Outfit:

    • Visit a Tailor to fix torn or damaged clothes. Dirty or broken items don’t give their full Charisma bonuses.

  2. Layer Up:

    • Charisma improves when Henry is wearing multiple layers of clothing, so don’t just toss on a shirt and call it a day.

    • Go for a doublet, a cloak, and even jewelry like rings to boost your stats.

  3. High-End Clothing:

    • Shop for clothes with high Charisma stats from a Tailor.

    • If you’re broke, well… there’s always the "midnight shopping spree" option (stealing). Just clean the stolen items at a bathhouse before wearing them.

Step 3: Use Perfume (Yes, Really)

Perfumes like Lion Perfume can give Henry a Charisma boost. These can be bought from bathhouse owners, like Dorothy in Zhelov.

Step 4: Perks That Boost Charisma

Certain perks can give you a permanent boost:

  1. Houndmaster Perk:

    • +3 Charisma when your dog is nearby. (Finally, a reason to keep Mutt around.)

  2. Flower Power (Survivalist):

    • +2 Charisma when carrying enough herbs. Time to stuff your inventory with marigold.

  3. Knight in Shining Armour:

    • Boosts Charisma if your armor is clean and well-maintained.

  4. Heracles (Strength):

    • Increases Charisma for every 5 levels of Strength.

Step 5: Temporary Boosts (Beer and Herbs)

If you’re in a pinch and need a quick boost:

  • Drink Beer:

    • Chugging 3-4 beers at the tavern can temporarily raise Charisma by 1-2 points. (Just don’t overdo it, or Henry will slur his speech checks.)

  • Carry Herbs:

    • Having a decent amount of flowers in your inventory activates the Flower Power perk.

Why Isn’t My Charisma Going Higher?

Even if you’re wearing high-end clothes, your Charisma might still be stuck if:

  • You’re Dirty or Injured: Bathhouses fix this.

  • Your Clothes Are Broken: Get them repaired at the Tailor.

  • You’re Missing Layers: Add more pieces to your outfit.

  • Your Perks Aren’t Active: Double-check if you’ve unlocked Flower Power, Houndmaster, or others.

Final Blurb

Charisma in KCD2 helps with cleanliness, maintenance, and gives you a bit of extra flair. If you’ve ever wanted Henry to be the medieval equivalent of a runway model, now’s your chance. So, hit the bathhouse, layer up, and maybe grab a beer or two before you start sweet-talking your way through Bohemia.
