So, you’ve been carrying around a broken sword like some tragic medieval protagonist, and now you’re wondering how to fix it. Good news—you can, and doing so will even net you the Reforged trophy or achievement. The bad news? If you wait too long, you’ll lose your chance.

Step 1: Get Radzig Koblya’s Sword

This isn’t just any sword—it’s the one Istvan Toth stole from your father, which means it’s both sentimental and useful. You’ll get it back about one-third of the way through the game. It’s not buyable, so don’t waste time looking in shops.

Step 2: Find a Smithy

You’ll need a Smithy to get the reforging process started. Any town with a Blacksmith should have one—just look for a big, sweaty guy surrounded by metal and fire.

Step 3: Start the Reforging Process

At the Smithy, interact with the anvil, tab over to Longswords, and look for the Reforged Radzig Koblya’s Sword. To craft it, you’ll need:

  • Radzig Koblya’s Sword (obviously)

  • Three Toledo Steel (buyable from any Blacksmith for around 20-30 Groschen each)

Step 4: Actually Reforge the Sword

This part plays out like any normal smithing session:

  1. Heat the sword—make sure it’s glowing.

  2. Hammer it—sparks should fly.

  3. Repeat until Henry dramatically announces that it’s done.

Failing is surprisingly easy—if you don’t keep the sword hot enough, you’ll mess it up and have to start over.

Important Warning: Don’t Wait Too Long

If you beat the game before reforging, the sword renames itself to Henry’s Longsword, and—because of plot reasons—you won’t be able to reforge it anymore. So, don’t procrastinate.

Final Blurb

Once you’ve reforged Radzig Koblya’s Sword, you’ll automatically replace the old one, so no dual-wielding. But hey, at least you’ll have a properly reforged, sentimental blade—and a shiny trophy or achievement to go with it.
