If you’re looking for Goatskin, you’re probably deep into the Into the Underworld quest in KCD2, and, let’s be honest—you’re scraping the bottom of the social barrel. While you’ll eventually rally noble allies, right now, you’re hunting down a guy named after animal hide. Medieval networking at its finest.

Where to Find Goatskin at Night

If you’re searching for Goatskin at night but don’t know where the Horse Market or the Hradek Quarter are, don’t worry. The easiest way to find him is through a scripted event:

  1. Go to the bathhouse in Kuttenberg.

  2. Look for a German man hanging around.

  3. Tell him the bathhouse is closing.

  4. Follow him as he leaves.

At some point on his walk home, Goatskin will try to rob him, revealing himself. That’s your chance to intervene.

Alternatively, if you don’t feel like waiting around, you can:

  • Play dice with the German at the bathhouse.

  • Win three times, and he’ll head home.

  • Goatskin will ambush him on the way.

Where to Find Goatskin During the Day

If you prefer daylight dealings, you’ll need to track him down the old-fashioned way:

  • Talk to the bathhouse workers.

    • Hanka will mention that Mary is involved with Goatskin.

    • Mary won’t immediately give up his location, but if you pass a speech check, she’ll talk.

  • Head to the barn Mary mentions.

    • The entrance is not directly accessible, because of course it isn’t.

    • Instead, go one door down to the tailor’s yard.

    • Sneak in (ideally at night, so you don’t get caught trespassing).

  • Climb up inside the barn.

    • On the top floor, there’s a hole you can jump through.

    • Drop down into the locked yard.

    • Climb up into Goatskin’s hideout.

If you arrive too early, you might need to wait for him to show up. But don’t worry—he’ll turn up eventually.

Final Blurb

Goatskin isn’t exactly the most cooperative guy, but with a little sneaking, a bit of gambling, or just a good old-fashioned bathhouse eviction trick, you’ll track him down. Either way, your journey into medieval crime networking continues.
