How to Remove Perks in RuneScape 3 (RS3)

If you’ve got some outdated perks in your Sirenic (or any other augmented gear) and you’re ready to swap them out, here’s how to do it.

Remove Perks Option 1: Gizmo Dissolver

This tool lets you remove individual gizmos from your item.

Pros: Keeps your armor intact.
Cons: The gizmo (and its perk) is destroyed in the process.

Perfect if you don’t care about the old perk and just want that slot free. You’ll need level 8 Invention to unlock it.

Remove Perks Option 2: Equipment Separator

This one is the deluxe option. It removes all gizmos from an item without destroying anything.

Pros: You keep your gear and both gizmos.
Cons: You need to level the gear to 15 first, and you need 115 Invention to make the separator.

If you're planning to reuse expensive gizmos or just want to be quick, this is the way to go.

Don’t Confuse With:

Equipment Dissolver: This will destroy the item, not just the gizmos. Definitely not what you want unless you’re done with the armor entirely.
Augmentation Dissolver: Removes augmentation from your item and wipes all gizmos too.

Final Blurb

If you’re not worried about keeping the perks, just use a gizmo dissolver. If you want to keep both the armor and the perks, go with the separator—just make sure that armor is at level 15 first.
