How to Unlock All Weapons in Abyssus

Abyssus

In Abyssus, new weapons are unlocked by completing specific in-run challenges or reaching certain encounters. Once a weapon is unlocked, it becomes a selectable starting weapon for future runs.

Some weapons are found naturally while progressing through levels, while others require you to complete strict conditions such as defeating an elite under special circumstances or solving environmental puzzles.

Confirmed Weapon Unlocks

Bow

Unlock by defeating the Sanctuary elite “Mr Weak Hands” (the one with rotating laser beams) very quickly. Use high burst or AoE damage to destroy his right hand, which lets you hit both hands at once. After killing him, skip the loot and head straight to the door.

Plasma Launcher

Complete the challenge "The Blazing Weapon." Progress to the Royal Abyss and find the Blazing Weapon by quickly reaching the area (Reach Act 4, Stage 1 (Depth 12). then finish the challenge to unlock it permanently. At the start of the stage, turn around, cross the gap (jump, dash, jump), and proceed to the hidden room. If you arrive in time, you can collect the weapon.

Disc Thrower

Unlocked in Act 2, Stage 4 (Depth 8) after the boss. In the room after the fight, destroy four hidden crystals to open the red door:

Crystal 1: Left of the door, past a grate.
Crystal 2: In an upper grate nearby.
Crystal 3: Right side of the small pond.
Crystal 4: In a vertical grate near the exit tunnel.

Order doesn’t matter. After destroying them all, the door will open.

Fish Gun / Fish Deity

Unlocked in the Pregame Lobby after defeating all three miniboss variants in Act 4, Stage 1 across multiple runs. Take the seaside path behind spawn, go behind the waterfall, and enter the hidden room. Wait for the statues to activate and fill the pond with water, then collect the Fish Deity.

Found naturally in Act 1, Stage 2 (Depth 2) after defeating the miniboss.

Tesla Gun

Found in Act 2, Stage 2 (Depth 6) after defeating the miniboss.

Brine Revolver

Located in the Pregame Lobby, to the left of the workbench.

Engine Rifle

Available from the start of the game.
