The Disc Thrower in Abyssus is not obtained through normal progression. Instead, it is locked behind a crystal puzzle that appears late in Act 2. You must reach this point, solve the puzzle, and open the door to claim the weapon.
How to Unlock the Disc Thrower
Reach Act 2 Stage 4 (Depth 8)
The Disc Thrower is found in the room after defeating the boss of this stage. You will see a locked red door inside.
Find and Destroy All Four Crystals
The door will only open once all four crystals in the room are destroyed. Their locations are:
Crystal 1 is to the left of the red door, past a grate.
Crystal 2 is nearby in an upper grate above the area.
Crystal 3 is inside a grate on the right side of the small pond.
Crystal 4 is in the vertical grate near the exit tunnel.
The order does not matter. You can destroy them in any sequence.

Open the Door and Collect the Weapon
Once all four crystals are gone, the red door will unlock. Enter to find the Disc Thrower and add it to your available weapons for future runs.
