How to Unlock Full Ability Outfit Customization in Infinity Nikki

Update 1.5 finally lets you fully customize your Ability Outfits, but the feature isn’t unlocked by default. You’ll need to finish a specific quest to get access.
Here’s what to do to unlock ability outfit customizations.
Step 1: Head to the Sea of Stars
You’ll need to return to the Sea of Stars to begin. Open your map and teleport to a Warp Nexus in that region.
Step 2: Start the Quest
Look for the quest called "Sea of Stars Revelation: The Secret of Ability Outfits."
You’ll find it near The Seer, the same NPC who originally introduced the Sea of Stars area. Talk to her and complete a few small tasks tied to the questline.
Some players have reported bugs here, so if progress seems stuck, try restarting your game or checking if you're in the right area.
Step 3: Unlock the Customization Feature
Once the quest is complete, you’ll gain the ability to freely edit your Ability Outfits, including:
Swapping pieces
Mixing and matching gear
Saving up to 10 outfit slots
This lets you create presets with your favorite looks and ability setups.
Important Note About Dyeing
You can’t dye outfits from the ability outfit menu directly.
To dye an outfit:
Go to the Wardrobe.
Use the DIY Workshop to apply colors or patterns first.
Then rebuild that outfit in the Ability Outfit menu afterward.
Otherwise, you’ll be stuck switching back and forth every time you want to change something.
