The Iridescent Bubblet, also known as the $0.99 bubble wand from the shop, has caused some confusion among players. If you bought it thinking it’s a hand-held accessory or a wardrobe item, here’s how it actually works.
What the Iridescent Bubblet Is
The Iridescent Bubblet is a souvenir item, not an equippable accessory. It appears in your Bag, in the same category as items like the Lotus Flower from previous seasons. You won’t find it in the wardrobe or as something Nikki can hold in her hand.
How to Equip the Bubble Wand
Open your Bag.
Find the Iridescent Bubblet under souvenirs.
Equip it from there.
On mobile, tap the double arrows on the right side of the screen to open the abilities or quick-access items menu. You can click the Bubblet from there when you’re exploring solo.
Important Limitations
It doesn’t work in co-op areas like Sea of Stars. You’ll need to be in a solo instance or an area where posing and whimsicalities are enabled.
It’s not a Whimsicality ability. You don’t trigger it like a skill.
No pose controls for photos. It’s meant to generate bubbles for fun or light photo effects but has no major gameplay function.
Final Blurb
The Iridescent Bubblet works more like a small cosmetic toy than a real accessory. If you were hoping for a full hand-held prop or photo pose item, this might be disappointing, but it still adds some bubbly fun when you’re exploring alone.
