The Last Light of Day is a powerful unique sword in Avowed, perfect for early-game battles with its fire enchantment and health-stealing abilities. Here’s a simple guide to help you locate and get it:

1. Start the Dawntreader Quest

  • Head to Paradis, where you'll eventually pick up the Dawntreader quest as part of the main story.

  • Go to the Aedyran Embassy in Paradis and speak to Ofryc, a character standing outside. Ofryc will ask you to search for a missing expedition.

2. Find the Quest Location

  • If you want to skip the quest-giving dialogue, you can head straight to the quest’s location.

  • The Pilgrim's Path is located in northern Dawnshore, just past the Northern Farms Beacon.

3. Complete the Dungeon Crawl

  • The quest involves a dungeon crawl with some twists, so explore and complete the objectives. Along the way, you’ll encounter several interesting challenges.

  • The sword belongs to the Oracle, so if they happen to die during the quest, you can loot the Last Light of Day from their body.

4. Enjoy the Sword

  • The Last Light of Day is a one-handed sword with two great enchantments: it heals you with each kill and adds fire damage to your attacks.

  • This weapon is especially useful in the early game and against enemies weak to fire, such as plant and fungus monsters in the Living Lands.

5. Upgrade the Sword

  • Like all weapons in Avowed, you can upgrade Last Light of Day to improve its effectiveness.

  • You can also enhance its health-stealing enchantment, increasing the healing or swapping it for a bonus to parries.

With Last Light of Day, you'll have a powerful and stylish weapon to help you throughout the game. Happy hunting!
