How to Get to the Lighthouse in Avowed

The lighthouse in Avowed is a stunning landmark that calls to you early in the game, and while it’s not part of a quest, it’s well worth the visit (100% one of the coolest places in the entire game). Here's a quick guide on how to reach it:
1. Location
The lighthouse is located just off the beaten path after you complete the opening tutorial.
You’ll come across it in Paradis, in a harbor area that’s easy to spot due to its towering presence.
2. Climbing the Lighthouse
As you approach the lighthouse, you’ll notice a series of jumps and climbing paths leading up to it.
This area serves as an introduction to the game’s verticality mechanics, so be ready for some jumping, climbing, and finding hidden nooks and crannies.
Ropes and small ledges make for alternate paths. Look around to spot areas you can climb or jump to, as some lead to extra loot/treasure.
3. Treasure Map and Views
At the top of the lighthouse, you’ll find a treasure map, which introduces you to the game’s quest type that involves treasure hunting. Now… Pause and take in teh view. It’s definitely worth it.
4. Descending the Lighthouse
To get down, carefully look for ropes or outcroppings that allow for a safe descent.
You can jump down to the water below, but be cautious as the leap may be risky if you don’t hit the water.
