Time is important in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2—miss the right moment, and you could lose out on quests or key events. If you need to skip ahead instead of standing around like a lost peasant, here’s how to wait and advance time.

How to Wait in KCD 2

Waiting is easy, but you can't do it while in combat, dangerous areas, or during critical story moments. Here's how to access the wait menu:

  • PlayStation: Press the Touch Pad

  • Xbox: Press View

  • PC: Press T

This brings up a 24-hour time wheel, showing sunrise, sunset, and the current time. Pick how many hours you want to wait, but be careful—waiting drains exhaustion and hunger fast.

Pro Tip: You can also open this menu just to check the time without actually waiting.

Other Ways to Advance Time

If waiting isn’t your thing, here are some other ways to move time forward:

  • Sleeping: This is the best method since it restores exhaustion and saves the game for free. Hunger also drains slower than when waiting.

  • Fast Travel: Traveling between locations moves time forward, but you have no control over how long the trip takes.

If none of these work, your last option is to literally stand around and do nothing, but let’s be real—that’s a waste of your time. Just use the wait feature.

Now go forth and waste time responsibly.
