Inner Fire is a passive effect that creates a small AOE around you when it randomly activates.

It does not trigger constantly unless you build around it.

When Inner Fire activates, a fiery circle appears around your character for a few seconds. It stays centered on you, so you will need to be close to enemies to actually benefit from it.

The effect has two important parts: how often it can trigger, and how long it lasts. You can increase both by finding the right stats on your gear.

How to Check Your Inner Fire Stats

Open your character panel and go through the three sections. In one of them, you will see stats like:

Final Blurb & FAQ

Inner Fire is one of those mechanics that looks boring at first but actually does a solid chunk of extra damage if you build around it. It shines the most for melee and mid-range characters who are always in the middle of a fight.

Q: How do I find items with Inner Fire bonuses?

They can appear on random affixes. You can also use the Filter-o-Tron to highlight gear that includes Inner Fire stats.

Q: Should every class use Inner Fire?

No, it works best on characters who fight up close. It is not very helpful for long-range builds unless they are mixed with melee.
