Is Agility Worth It in Clair Obscur Expedition 33?

Agility might seem like the stat you could ignore. Spoiler... you probably shouldn’t.
What Does Agility Actually Do?
Agility affects two things:
How soon your character takes their turn.
Your dodge (evasion) chance.
The higher your Agility, the faster you’ll act in battle and the better you’ll avoid enemy hits. Faster turns can decide fights before they even get started. Dodge chance can outright save you... especially against bosses who hit like freight trains.
Does Agility Matter Early, Mid, and Late?
Early Game:
Agility is decent, but you won’t notice big results yet. Early enemies don’t hit hard enough or fast enough to make it a priority.
Mid Game:
Agility starts pulling its weight. Faster turns mean you can interrupt or wipe out threats before they act. Dodge chance starts feeling real too.
Late Game:
Agility can carry entire fights. Against bosses and fast enemies, having high Agility lets your best units act early and often. Dodging also prevents you from eating those huge attacks that can wipe your party.
Is It Better Than Strength or Vitality?
For pure damage? No.
For survival and team advantage? Yes... in the right setups.
Agility shines if your team relies on turn order or evasion-based tactics. If you just want to brute-force every fight, Strength or Vitality will give bigger early results.
Who Benefits Most?
Agility is best on:
Maelle (already fast... gets even better)
Verso (makes his utility skills much stronger)
Sciel (her survival skyrockets with high Agility)
Slow, heavy hitters like Gustave can still benefit, but Agility isn’t their focus.
Final Blurb — Agility IS Worth It
Agility might not look flashy on paper, but it can quietly win you fights before enemies even swing. If you want to outspeed, outlast, and avoid turning into floor paste... Agility’s your friend.
