You can reach the Gemstone Crab right after completing Children of the Sun. You don’t need to finish Twilight Promise or unlock a Quetzal. Just run on foot from Civitas illa Fortis into the Tlati Rainforest and use any of the cave entrances near the mines. Each cave will teleport you directly to the crab’s active location.
Walking Route Explained
Leave Civitas illa Fortis through the eastern gate. Follow the main dirt path into the rainforest. Stay on the trail as it curves northeast. The path is wide and mostly safe, even for level 3 players. Jungle creatures wander around but move slow, so just keep running past them.
Soon you’ll reach the first mining area with a cave nearby. Entering this cave sends you straight to the Gemstone Crab. You don’t need to find it on the surface. Every mine cave links to the same underground system that always points to the crab’s current position.
