PEAK Beehive Game Guide

peak game beehives and bees

Written by Jason B.

Beehives in the game PEAK are found in the jungle biome, and if you get too close, the bees will swarm and start attacking. They deal poison damage over time and can chase you a long way.

What Happens When You Approach a Hive

As soon as you move near a beehive, the bees will activate and start chasing you.

They do not wait for you to hit the hive... just getting close is enough. Once they’re on you, they slowly drain stamina and health through poison damage.

You’ll need to run immediately, or you will get overwhelmed.

How to Escape the Bees

Climbing is not safe when bees are chasing you.

Instead of going upward, run in circles or through open space. If you can keep moving and avoid obstacles, the bees may eventually stop chasing you.

Sometimes they break off randomly or despawn if you get far enough away. Other times they can bug out and get stuck, which also stops the attack.

Strategy for Team Play

If you’re in a group, one player can bait the bees while the others go for the hive.

The bees will stay locked onto one person once aggroed, giving the rest of the team a window to grab the honey or any achievement-related item from the hive.

Just make sure your runner has stamina and a wide area to kite them through.

Are the Bees Bugged?

Yes, sometimes.

The chase time and speed are inconsistent. Some bees give up quickly, others chase you for a long time. They can also despawn or get stuck, which makes things unpredictable but sometimes helpful.

Final Blurb

Beehives in PEAK offer useful resources, but the bees can be relentless. Stay off walls while fleeing, run in open space, and hope for a despawn.

In co-op, let one person bait while the others loot.
